Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Power drill
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Measuring tape
  • Pencil
  • Stud finder

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location over your range with proper ventilation and clearance from cabinets.
  2. Remove Old Unit: If replacing, carefully remove existing microwave and disconnect power.
  3. Locate Wall Studs: Use stud finder to locate and mark wall studs for secure mounting.
  4. Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to wall studs using provided hardware.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15A grounded outlet. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Ventilation Setup: Choose between external venting or recirculating mode and install ductwork if needed.
  7. Mount Microwave: Lift microwave onto mounting plate and secure according to instructions.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, vent fan, and lighting.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Ensure proper ventilation and electrical safety.
