Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location over your range with proper ventilation and clearance from cabinets.
- Remove Old Unit: If replacing, carefully remove existing microwave and disconnect power.
- Locate Wall Studs: Use stud finder to locate and mark wall studs for secure mounting.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to wall studs using provided hardware.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15A grounded outlet. Follow local electrical codes.
- Ventilation Setup: Choose between external venting or recirculating mode and install ductwork if needed.
- Mount Microwave: Lift microwave onto mounting plate and secure according to instructions.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, vent fan, and lighting.
