Gas Range Oven

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Gas line leak detector solution
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Pipe thread sealant

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation and adequate clearance from combustible materials.
  2. Gas Connection: Connect to gas supply line using approved flexible gas connector. Apply pipe thread sealant to all connections.
  3. Check for Leaks: Use leak detector solution to test all gas connections for leaks before proceeding.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  5. Position the Oven: Slide oven into position, ensuring it is level from front to back and side to side.
  6. Anti-tip Bracket: Install and secure anti-tip bracket to prevent oven from tipping forward.
  7. Test Operation: Test all burners and oven functions to ensure proper operation before use.
