Self-Cleaning Process
Step 1: Preparation
Remove all racks and accessories from oven. Wipe out any loose debris or major spills. Ensure oven door closes properly and locks securely.
Step 2: Setting the Cycle
Press "Clean" button on control panel. Select cleaning time (2 hours for light soil, 3-4 hours for heavy soil). Press "Start" to begin cycle.
Step 3: During Cleaning
Oven will heat to 880°F to burn off food residue. Door will automatically lock. You may notice smoke and odor - this is normal during cleaning.
Step 4: Cooling Period
After cleaning cycle completes, oven will cool for 1-2 hours. Door remains locked until temperature drops to safe level (below 600°F).
Step 5: Final Wipe
Once completely cooled, wipe out any remaining ash with damp cloth. Reinstall oven racks and accessories. Oven is ready for use.

Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
Self-clean won't start | Door not closed properly, control lock engaged | Ensure door is fully closed, check control lock settings |
Excessive smoke | Heavy grease buildup, plastic items left in oven | Use shorter cleaning time for heavy soil, remove all non-food items |
Cycle stops early | Overheating protection, power interruption | Allow oven to cool completely, check power supply |
Door won't open after cycle | Oven still too hot, door lock mechanism engaged | Wait for oven to cool completely, do not force door open |
Error codes displayed | System malfunction, sensor issues | Note error code and contact service technician |
Poor cleaning results | Insufficient cleaning time, extremely heavy soil | Repeat cycle with longer time, manually clean heavy spills first |
