Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and direct sunlight on a solid, level floor.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts, tapes and packaging materials from the refrigerator.
  3. Level the Refrigerator: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the refrigerator is level from front to back and side to side for proper door operation.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
  5. Clearance Check: Ensure proper clearance around the unit for ventilation - at least 2 inches on sides and back, 4 inches on top.
  6. Initial Setup: Allow the refrigerator to stand upright for 4 hours before plugging in to allow compressor oil to settle.
